Sofia Lind is a designer and artist from Gothenburg, Sweden.

The Paris Metro Collection is inspired by the time the artist, Swedish Sofia Lind, lived and studied in the city of Paris. However, not knowing the language the young artist found herself feeling a bit lonely and riding the metro became a means of escape.

With this collection, she has gradually transformed the colors and atmospheres of 4 specific Paris metro stations into portrait paintings.

Jaures station is in the Paris 10th arrondissement and anyone who has lived and stayed some time in Paris will probably remember the colors and the feeling of the place.
